On the field in the battle's heat.
The smell of sweat and blood so sweet.
I hear the sound of dead men's cries.
As I quickly try to hide my eyes.
I know the men who fill the stream.
With their flowing crimson cream.
And in the chaos of this day.
The sky turning dark and grey.
I gravely view the surrounding scene.
And see the hills once purely green.
Now so drenched and soaked in blood.
Tufning the soil to flowing mud.
I grasp my pierced and painful breast.
Staring at the sword in my chest.
I fall to the ground and realize.
That this is a dream as I open my eyes.

Crimson Dream

devestating cavalry charge.
