Size
The size of your locker will make a difference in how you can decorate it, and how much will fit. If your locker is full length, then there are more options for decorating. However, if youf locker is half size, take that into consideration before choosing decorations to hangup.
Theme
Pick a theme, and make sure it fits your personal style. Do you have a favorite celebrity, movie, gadget, or hobby? Then consider using those items to decorate. If you like a specific celebrity or music group, their website is a good place to look for decorating items. There will be plenty of pictures to print out, and possibly free posters to order. The second place to look are magazines. Find one that has a section on your topic, and cut out the pictures.
After getting the pictures you like, consider attaching them to magnets so that you can easily remove them and reposition them. If you tape them directly to the locker , it will be more difficult to remove them if you should need to reposition them. Cheap magnet strips can be purchased at crafts stores.
Items
To fully decorate your locker, you will need more than just magazine cut-outs and prints. Consider placing some fabric on the inside of the door. Magnets can still work through the fabric, but the inside of the locker will look completely different - it's the locker equivalent of painting your room. If you don't want to use fabric, then consider wrapping paper. Wrapping paper comes in more varieties, but may need replaced periodically.
Mirrors are also a nice addition. Add as many or as few as you want. With mirrors placed strategically inside, you can make your locker appear twice as large as it is.
