How and Why Do Bars Attract Hot Women?

My wife and I like to patronize a lot of different watering holes on the weekends. Ever since I can remember, most of them try to cater to the female gender of the sexes. When this happens, business picks up.

It is not unusual to see a "ladies night" special event or admission. However, I have never seen a special "mens night." I thought that kind of odd because men for the most part, bring in a lot of money to different establishments.

"Happy Hour" specials still exist in many bars but, they aren't advertised as much. The reason for this is the strong emphasis on the driving while intoxicated law. Still there are many taverns and bars that have some type of an after work special. It could be anything from good food munchies to a drink special.

However, there is one event that always is advertised and very loudly. That event is "Ladies night." On those nights, if a band is playing, ladies get in for half price or free. Some of the places even have half price drinks for the ladies. I have even heard of places were a lady can drink for free between certain hours. The main philosophy behind this is to attract hot women. Once a place has established a strong reputation for attracting hot women, the men tend to start showing up. In some cases, lots of men.

Once this happens, business really picks up. Now guys aren't dumb. They will research different places to find the ones that have attractive (hot) women. Usually the cover charges or costs on appetizers and drinks are of no concern. To term and old phrase, "They only have one thing on their mind."

However, what if you have more women than men? I have seen this phenomenon in some places already. The ladies night was such a good attraction that they out numbered the men 5 to 1. To be honest, the women didn't even look that hot. However, the bar had a large crowd of women, that it appeared that the owner was losing money.
