Years ago, Fibromyalgia was unheard of to the general public. Now it seems to be a topic of conversation at every turn. How much do you know? Read this article and get educated. There are 18 different sensitive points in your body that hurt they are called pressure point. no one knows what causes Fibromyalgia. I know for me I fell and snapped my neck. My doctor would touch my pressure points which would hurt for three days after he touched each point.
It took a long time for my doctor to find out what was wrong with me, he thought lupus first and also m.s. from there he sent me to a Neurologist. Who touched my points and said that I did have Fibromyalgia. I could not spell or say it. It was a very big word I wanted to investigate.
He put me on a some medication that had side effects. Like headaches, dry mouth, I seemed to lose some of my memory. Like when I would go to the store forget why I was there and have to call my husband.
The doctor always said that swimming, walking, and watching what you ate would help. In my case that did not do anything for me. I was always tired and wanting to sleep, and just sit still.I hurt so bad I felt as though I had the flu everyday.
It is so hard to find out you if you have Fibromyalgia so you have to go to so many doctors. Some know what the disease is and some still have not excepted it is. You have to be persistent and know that you are hurting.
The pressure points are very easy to identify by the feeling when a doctor touches every place you hurt. Unfortunately I have the worst case which is every part of my body. I guess I am the lucky one. So I could help you by telling you what i have learned.
Some people say that oxidation is in the muscle and causes little oxygen. That is why my doctor wanted me to put anti-oxidents in my diet. But I believed nutritional supplements are often necessary because of what is in the foods that are available today.
It is very important to watch what you eat. A friend of mine told me to take mangosteen which is a fruit and it xanthones are the subject of studies.
Use these tips to make dealing with Fibromyalgia a lot easier. If you follow the basics you will eliminate, or lesson, your problem of Fibromyalgia.
