The original creater of Coca-Cola did not realize just what a great thing he had created, and sold most of the rights before he died.

"Always Coca-Cola" and other Ad Campaigns
Many associate Coca-Cola with this jingle. Do you remember it? "The sun will always shine, the birds will always sing..." Have I jarred your memory at all? Well this was just one of the many advertising campaigns that Coca-Cola came up with. In fact, there are many different types campaigns over the years.
Since I am an advertising major, this part intrigued me the most. The Coca-Cola polar bears was during the "Always" Coca-Cola campaign which was done in 1993. Remember those 3D animated bears? I thought that Coca-Cola did a great job with this campaign. The chill of the snow and atmosphere always made me feel like that Coke the bears were drinking was absolutely cold and refreshing, but didn't those bears warm your heart?
So what were some of the other Coca-Cola campaigns?
In 1971 there was the campaign with the song, "I'd Like To Buy A World a Coke". In 1976 there was the, "Coke Adds Life" campaign and in 1979 there was, "Have a Coke and a Smile."
Now in the 80s it started with the theme, "Coke is It" and to end the 80s the jingle, "Can't Beat the Real Thing".
