I previously wrote an article about the Lucerne Eating Right ravioli frozen dinner and was overwhelmed by the response. Apparently many people feel very positively about the Lucerne Eating Right brand and strongly disagreed with my assessment of the ravioli frozen dinner. One person even commented that I must be very narrow minded to give the entire brand a thumbs down after trying only one product. Since I do not believe I am narrow minded, love to eat healthy and like it was pointed out to me, my husband and children did not feel as strongly as I did about the poor taste of the product, I decided to try another meal and see if I came to another opinion.

One night while our children were spending the night at a friend's house, my husband and I found ourselves without kids to feed and an empty refrigerator. Off we went to the grocery store, and not wanting to spend the bulk of our free evening in the kitchen, spied the Lucerne Eating Right frozen dinner display. The Beef Teriyaki meal has a very appetizing looking package and with the blue circle code on the front which indicates that this product is high in protein, my husband decided this should be our dinner for the night.

The Lucerne Eating Right Beef Teriyaki meal couldn't be any simpler to prepare. There are instructions on the back to prepare the meal in a pan or in the microwave. The pan method requires a tablespoon of vegetable oil or non stick cooking spray. Since I was out of cooking spray and did not want to add the oil, I chose the microwave method. The Lucerne Eating Right Beef Teriyaki frozen meal comes with a sauce packet that must be held under warm running water to thaw. Using a microwave safe dish with a lid, the beef and vegetables get placed in the covered container and microwaved on high for five minutes. The beef and vegetables then get stirred, recovered and nuked for an additional six minutes. After stirring the thawed sauce into the beef and vegetables, the dish gets microwaved for an additional minute. The Lucerne Eating Right Beef Teriyaki frozen meal needs to stand for a minute or two before serving.

Great review! Like others have said, ignore those rude commenters on the other article. You have the right to say what is on your mind and should feel comfortable in doing so. When I taste something questionable, I also hesitate to try that brand again. It looks like it was a good choice for you to give the brand another chance this time, but that's not always the case. LOL :-)

I would ignore the negative feedback, Lisa. Honestly, I would. I went back and reread the ravioli one. You didn't blast the product, and you even gave some positive points about it! Hopefully you're getting mega PVs from it that will make you some cash. And, this is ANOTHER great review! Keep up the good work!

Lisa, people will always have their opinions. I am sorry about this but I hope you feel better if you see that even with the rude comments, your page views went up. What may have not made you the happiest in one way (rude comments) I hope helps you to be happy in another (page view $$).

I thought your ravioli article was very honest and a good assessment of the product AND the brand. Once I try a meal I don't like I also hesitate to buy that brand again. Food is expensive, and a meal that isn't flavorful or worth the price is a reflection on the company. Some people who comment on our articles are very rude, but that's because they can get away with it online. Many of these people wouldn't have the nerve to make some of the comments they make face to face. I take them with a grain of salt and consider the mentality. Another great review!

Lisa, I wouldn't pay any attention to some of the negative feedback you recieved on your ravioli article. You should feel able to express what you do and do not like without being called narrow minded. That was rude. This was a good review! Sophie
