OK..I'm a guy. Normally I would NOT ever review a product from Bath and Body Works, like a hand soap. But when something is just SO bad and you want the world to know, you gotta step up to the plate and not be embarrassed.

This stuff comes in an 8 fluid ounce bottle and the label says that it includes Green Tea Extract and Shea Butter.

On the overview I said I wanted you to remember ONE word. Now I'm going to add to it for more of a clue: CLUMPS IN THE SINK Read on and you'll be told.

So the label says this includes Shea Butter. A new gimmicky ingredient? I've heard of Shea stadium but not Shea butter. Wikipedia says, Shea nut butter is a slightly greenish or ivory-colored natural fat extracted from fruit of the Shea tree by crushing and boiling. Shea butter is widely used in cosmetics as a moisturizer and an emollient. Shea butter is also edible. It is used as a cooking oil in West Africa, as well as sometimes being used in the chocolate industry as a substitute for cocoa butter. I wouldn't advise eating this stuff, though. BBW says that this soap has a rich lather to soften and sooth dry-hands as it kills germs.

Isn't hand soap just hand soap? Well, kinda of. This stuff does have a pleasant scent. It does stay with you for a short while. Has it made a difference on my rough hands? Uh...nope. As a guy though, I don't really feel I need baby smooth skin anywhere on my body. :-)

Now there are directions on the bottle which I didn't look at until a couple of days ago when I making my little grumblings of, "just WHY did she buy this junk???!" The directions say to Wet hands, work into a rich lather. Rinse well. "Ah!" I thought!!! "So that's the problem!" So I followed the directions and wet my hands FIRST and slowly tried to work into a lather. No luck;

HI DAVE YOU ARE RIGHT ABOUT THE CLUMPS, SO I CUT BACK TO JUST A DAB,AS IT IS SO HIGHLY CONCENTRATED. WHEN I GOT TO THE END OF MY BOTTLE I ADDED A LITTLE HOT WATER & SHO0K IT UP GOOD, THEN TIPPED THE BOTTLE UPSIDE IN A SMALL SEAL-ABLE BOWL, JUST DIP A FINGER IN FOR WHAT WE NEED. CUTTING BACK ON THE SOAP MADE FOR LESS CLUMPS, AND IF I HAD ANY I JUST TOOK A WASH CLOTH AND WASHED THE SINK OUT, AS WE LIVE ON A FARM AND THE HUBBY ALWAYS HAS THE SINK DIRTY. FUNNY THING A GUY INTRODUCED US TO THE SOAP. MARY PS SORRY FOR ALL CAPS BUT RECOVERING FROM SURGERY CAN ONLY USE ONE HAND.
