Are you paying too much for your cell phone? Wondering where all those long distance charges are coming from? Are you counting every text message to make sure that you are within your monthly limit? Are you spending more time calculating roll-over minutes for next month than actually catching up with your loved ones? If so, a Cricket cell phone might be the best purchase you make.

A few months back when we moved to north Georgia, we purchased a Cricket phone. Since then it has been the only phone we use and we could not be happier about it. I used to have a Tmobile phone that I really loved but I used it for long distance all the time and acquired more charges than I could afford to pay for. So now I've got a great big chunk of debt on my credit thanks to them. My Tmobile plan was supposed to have unlimited long distance but apparently that was not the case. My friends and family members all over the country have phones ranging from carries like Verizon, Tmobile, Sprint, Nextel, Cingular/AT&T, and even Metro phones (which are similar to Cricket). All of them have issues with getting good service and trying to foot their bills. With Cricket, I no longer have to deal with the same problems they have. Been there, done that! So what do I like about my Cricket phone?

The Service
I have never had a problem with my phone service. Most of the time when I talk to my friends it is usually their phones that sound garbled up, have lots of static, or lose service. I have never experienced any dropped calls (knock on wood) and the sound quality of my calls are always clear. When I lived in Florida the big "cheap" phone there was Metro phones. The problem with Metro is that the service is absolutely terrible. Sure, you can afford the phone but if you can't use it then why bother?
