Baby items often come in small-sized packaging that is convenient to reuse for other purposes around your home. Instead of throwing these things away, try to come up with ways that they can be utilized in a new and clever way. Here are five baby items that are great for recycling around your house.

1.Baby Wipe Containers. When you're done with a baby wipe container, don't throw it away. There are a ton of ways to reuse them. You can use one to store your baby's bath toys after he's done with his bath. You can also store small toiletry items like diaper rash ointment in baby wipe containers. They won't look out of place in your bathroom.

2. Baby Food Jars. You can reuse baby food jars to store your own home made baby food in. They make judging portion sizes easy. Buy a few to start, and then reuse them with your own baby food to save money. You can freeze portions of baby food right in the jar. The rectangular plastic baby food containers can be recycled in your home as well. They are perfect for holding condiments or small portions of food in a lunch box. They are also great for freezing small portions of leftovers, to save room in your freezer. Another good use for baby food jars is for storing art and craft supplies. These are just the right size for tiny beads, and they are clear so you can easily know what is in each jar. I have a ton of these jars that I use for a variety of different small craft supplies.

3. Plastic "Baby Juice " Bottles. Those tiny plastic expensive juice bottles that are sold in four or six packs. I bought a pack in a rare moment of shopping laziness. Now I can reuse them for drinks to send to school with my kindergartner. They are the perfect size for snack time, have screw on lids that fit tightly to help prevent a mess, and she loves to use them. I can put in milk or juice or whatever she wants. They are also a good size to take along on a long car trip.

Great ideas! I never throw any of these things away! I use those little plastic bags that items come in to put together "lots" of yard sale items for sale for like $1.00 instead of several $.10 things laying around.
