Logitech PlayGear Stealth and PlayGear Mod PSP Audio Review

The PlayGear Stealth earbud set uses gel inserts that fit onto the earbuds with different sized inserts for snug fitting earbuds. The PlayGear Mod is a great looking headset that rests comfortably on the ears and runs behind the head. Both the Stealth and Mod are great sounding audio sets with good range and quality.

Logitech has been making computer and gaming peripherals and with the inclusion of the most recent gaming consoles continues to keep pace with the ever changing market as well as the consumer's style. The PlayGear line of products follows the PlayStation Portable system and includes the Stealth and Mod audio sets.

The PlayGear Stealth are a nice earbud set that includes three separate gel seals for additional comfort and variety of ear canal sizes. The Stealth inserts into the ear and the three different sized gels slip on simply to the head of the earbud. The sound from the ear buds are nice with very good cancelling of exterior sound and noise.

When you fit the gels insert on the earbud you just push the earbud into your ear canal. The thumb easily pushes the earbud in place using the slanted end of the earbud. They are easily removable with a tug on the base of the earbud as well as sliding in easily with the smooth and slightly slick feeling gel inserts. The angled wire protector and wire coming out of the earbud allows for the easy insertion and removal.

The gels fit comfortably and cancel out almost all noise around you which is very good so you get good sound from your PSP or whatever device you are using the buds for. The Stealth set can be used with any PC, handheld device or MP3 player that uses the standard 3.5 MM stereo jack.

The sound and audio quality is excellent with good clarity and wide frequency range for fantastic sound quality. The noise cancelling for the Stealth also works in both directions. You cannot hear much of what is going on around you when wearing these earbuds and others cannot hear your music. The gel inserts fit comfortably and create a nice seal inside the inner ear canal but not so far in that you would be worried. The gel seals fit snugly on the earbud so coming off while wearing is not a problem.
