On Saturday, September 8th, 2007, the 6th annual Bellevue Art in the Park festival will be held at Bellevue Beach Park in Bellevue, Kentucky. The festival features shopping and entertainment for the entire family including local artists and fine crafters, art activities for children, local food, and musical acts. Bellevue is a Northern Kentucky river town located just across the Ohio River from Cincinnati and is easily accessible for visitors from the tri-state area of Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana.

Bellevue Beach Park is an ideal location for a festival such as Bellevue Art in the Park. The river front park is located directly on the Ohio River just across from downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. The scenic setting is perfect for a family festival. Dozens of booths will be set up featuring local crafters and artists, many of which are also showcased in the quaint shops located in Bellevue's historic Fairfield Avenue shopping district. The art show is juried and therefore requires that all artists displaying work for sale sell only handcrafted, genuine fine art or fine craft items. This is a great feature if you are shopping for a handmade, unique gift, rather than something from a kit or something prefabricated as you can sometimes find at so-called "art" festivals.

In addition to the art sale at Bellevue Art in the Park, there will be art activities for children, live music performances, and food vendors selling snacks and meals. Additionally, you can enjoy the scenic river views and walk to the open shops along Fairfield Avenue while you enjoy your day in downtown Bellevue.

Bellevue Art in the Park is sponsored by The Bellevue Renaissance. Bellevue has indeed undergone a great time of growth and resurgence. The addition of new shopping, luxury housing, and well-known restaurants has made Bellevue a new hot spot for Northern Kentuckians, Cincinnatians, and Hoosiers.
