We can add more space to our garage if we try. There are things you can do to get the most out of your space. We are always in need for more space in our garage. There are ways that you can regain more space in your garage by organizing the things that you have. Our garage is a great place to store our vehicles and yard equipment and the tools that we need to do jobs around our homes. It can also be used to store items that we no longer use or want to keep in our home. Organizing can save room in your garage and make everything look clean and neat.

The first thing you should do when organizing your garage is to set a couple days aside when you don't have anything else to do just to. Sometimes it takes a couple days if you have a lot of items in your garage to get everything out and then stored back inside your garage properly. First take everything out of your garage and then make up three piles of items. One pile should be the keep pile. One should be a throw away pile. And the other one should be a sell or give away pile. This will help you to get your items organized in the right piles and know what to do with all your things when you go to put them back in to your garage. Some things won't be stored back away like anything in your throw away pile. This will give your garage more space.

When you get everything sorted into one of these three piles then go and buy if you don't already have some storage containers to store these items away. You will need them when you go to organize your items. Buy some utility racks to hang your garden tools on the wall such as racks, shovels and other garden tools. If you have bikes. Get a bike rack and hang them on the wall. Hanging your garden tools and bikes on the wall will take up less space in your garage. Buy a utility and tool cabinet for your garage if you don't already have these things. They will help to keep all your other items organized.
