The thunder, the lightning,
So close, so loud,
I can feel it deep inside of me,
While lighting the clouds.
So beautiful it is,
So loud to our ears.
Shaking all amiss,
All that endears.

Knowing the rain,
Is not far behind.
Who can explain,
Where can we hide.
Not under a tree,
Not in a field,
Not in a barn,
Nothing will shield.
We'll take our chances,
Oh what luck,
To find the lodges,
Amidst the muck.

Now warm and dry,
We ask why,
Why are we worried,
As time passes by?
All that is, is meant to be,
To be alive and to be free.
So go with the flow,
Be what it may,
Then you will know,
On another day.
