How to Add Music to Your Myspace Page

In this guide I will show you how to add music to your Myspace page. If you are new to Myspace then adding music will probably seem difficult. When I first started with the Myspace thing, I went around and around in circles trying to get music on my page. I listen to Christian music, groups like Third Day, Chris Tomlin, and Casting Crowns. Those groups didn't have many songs to choose from. But I'm sure you can find something that you will like. So let's get started.

The first thing that you will need to do is log in to your Myspace account. Once you have logged in click on your Home button to carry you to your home page. This is the page that only you see. Beside your picture you will see a link that says Edit Profile. Click on that link.

You will be carried to the Interests and Personality page. You will see a row of links on this page. Click on the last link that says Song and Video on Profile. On the next page you will see a link that says Find a Band in Myspace Music. Click on that link.

When you click that link you will be carried to the Myspace Music page. Scroll down to the bottom of that page to where it says Genre. Click on the Genre of your choice. For this guide, I will click on Christian.

On the next page you will see a list of Christian bands. Click on the band that you like. I will click on Casting Crowns for this guide. The Casting Crowns Myspace page will load. If you have a dial up this will take a couple of minutes because most of the band pages are huge.

On the page you will notice a music box with different songs in it. Find the song that you want to add to your page and click the Add link under that song. You can click on the song title to hear the song play before you add the song to your Myspace page. When you click the Add link, you will be carried to a page that will ask you if you are sure you want to add this song. Click the Add Song to Profile button to add the song to your Myspace page. The next page will tell you that your song has been added.
