If you like the high speed of a racing boat and the excitement of a roller coaster, then this is the perfect activity for you to do in Honolulu, Hawaii. The boat is located at Kewalo Basin in Honolulu, Hawaii. It can be booked 7 days a week. The ride lasts for 45 minutes. You might even get to see some sea turtles, dolphins or humpback whales if you are lucky. The Honolulu Screamer is a high speed, twin jet, water propelled jet boat that flies with speeds up to 40 miles per hour! With 1420 horse power, twin diesel Caterpillar engines, you will fly across the water in this boat. You will be entertained by the music playing from the 20 speaker system. But it might not be able to drown out your screaming! As you can see in the picture , this boat is a bright green color, hard to miss. As we were looking out into the ocean one morning we saw this boat flying across the ocean! All of a sudden the boat did a 180 degree turn. The front of the Honolulu Screamer dipped into the ocean. This is a ride where you are guaranteed to get wet. So make sure you bring a towel. You might want to leave your hat and glasses at the hotel. Buy a disposable camera. No need to worry about ruining your good camera if it gets wet. Because this is such an extreme ride, there are some safety rules to be followed. Absolutely no pregnant women are allowed to ride the Screamer. Absolutely no people with heart conditions, back injuries or those who are susceptible to back injury are allowed to ride. All riders must be at least 40" and children must be able to sit in their seat without assistance. If you are susceptible to motion sickness, either take something to prevent it or don't ride this boat. This is not a casual ride in the ocean to see the coastline. This is extreme!
