There are some parents who look at boarding school as a place for children of the wealthy. There are of course other parents who see boarding school as a way to receive a better education for their child. Nowadays it seems that most public schools are way overcrowded, and not well equipped or staffed properly. One thing that you will need to keep in mind when it comes to boarding schools is that your child will be away from you for a certain period of time. Of course the academic standards of a boarding school as definitely much higher than that of a public school. Unfortunately what many parents don't realize is that the moral standards of the students who attend these boarding schools are really just the same as public schools.

Takeaways
  • Remember that with a boarding school your child is being sent away from you and your influence.
  • They do have a lot more structure,
  • A boarding school can also be a very restrictive place.

You are so jealous of boarding schools, what your problem is that you know they are better but you can not afford them so you are bad mouthing them! I can read that you are probably a home schooler and I think that is great for some people. However you are painting a false picture of boarding schools and making yourself look stupid.
