Jesus is salvation from the Father's outstretched arm. He is the Son of God and the Son of Man. He is Immanuel- God with us. The very meaning of the name, Immanuel shows that Jesus Christ is deity.
Isa 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. (KJV)

Jesus' birth fulfilled countless prophecies. There is no need to look further than Jesus Christ for the Messiah. If you are wondering, waiting, or searching for the Messiah, there is no need to continue looking, Jesus fulfilled these prophecies concerning the coming Messiah:

He is a descendent of Abraham
He is a descendent of Isaac
He is a descendent of Jacob
He descended from the tribe of Judah
He was born in Bethlehem
He was born of a virgin
Infants were slaughtered
He escaped to Egypt as a child
He ministered in Galilee and along the Jordan River
The Jewish people rejected him
He had the character of wisdom and understanding
His triumphant entry on a donkey in Jerusalem was prophesied to the day
A close friend betrayed him
He was sold for thirty pieces of silver
The money was returned and used to buy the potters field
He was silent during His trial
He suffered for others
He was crucified with sinners
His feet and hands were pierced
He was mocked and insulted by the people
He was given gall and vinegar to drink
His side was pierced with a spear
Soldiers cast lots for His clothes
None of His bones were broken
He was buried in a rich man's tomb
He resurrected after His death
He ascended into heaven

Jesus was born so that all nations might be saved. He is salvation in human form. His sacrifice upon the cross did away with the blood of lambs, calves, and goats once and for all.
From the time Adam and Eve fell, all mankind was slave to sin, death, and the grave. Man could only enter into a relationship with God the Father through the righteous acts of the law.

Takeaways
  • None of Jesus Christ's bones were broken

Wow, it's nice to know I'm not alone in my beliefs. I continue to be bashed about my Christian beliefs by one Associated Content member. She is really beginning to annoy me beyond belief. Why do atheists annoy me so much? Is it because they really truly and honestly believe that there is no God? I mean, what Mook would make up the story of Jesus right? I am currently taking an advanced Microbiology class and when I think of all the perfect ways of how we have been made and how cells work and how the universe is in complete order, there is no doubt in my mind that God is real and that Christ Jesus was sent to earth to save our wretched souls. To me, believing in God is a no brainer and it doesn't require a college degree! I suppose the one thing atheists don't have is what we do have, Faith. That is hard to grasp.

Thank you for having the courage to talk about our savior so directly. Beautiful way to use your AC, makes me think about how I use mine...a lot of times to gripe and complain. :)
