Every individual has a unique idea of the definition of stress. Stress is basically the body's ways of responding to various forms of stimuli. The reaction that the body creates is physiological in nature. Any person, of any age, can experience stress in one fashion or another. Seeing that the body translates stress into a "danger", if you experience stress, it is important to find creative solutions for relief. One of the methods of relief may be as simple as creating your own marble stress balls. This is a relatively simple project that you can create using simple items around the home. I will outline the steps that you must take in order to create this type of stress relief ball, but first, let's take a look at the dangers of stress.

When a person experiences stress, many things happen in the body. The following outlines some of the most common occurrences:

1) Glucose is increased throughout the body.

2) The proper circulation of blood is interrupted, and can result in many serious complications. Some common complications may include the heart speeding up and pumping too much blood, or organs not receiving the proper amounts of blood for proper functioning.

3) Blood pressure in the body may increase.

4) A person may have issues with their respiratory system. This may include not getting enough oxygen or important parts of the body, such as the brain, not receiving enough oxygen to function appropriately.

5) The brain may create a mental issue, such as depression and other mental challenges, as a result of the physiological imbalances that are occurring throughout the body.

In a nutshell...stress can be bad, very bad....

This is why it is so important to ensure that you have creative solutions to stress relief. Marble stress balls are just one method of stress relief, but there are many. These include swimming, exercising, eating the right diet, and many other things. For the sake of this article, however, we will focus on the stress balls. For this project, you will need the following:

- A pack of marbles

- An old sock that has no holes

- A rubber band
