Two Working Parent's Saving Grace for Last 10 Years

Penny Meeks's service, Rent-A-Nannie, started in 1997 from her tiny Jacksonville Beach home with 3 nannies and has grown to cover an area 70 miles long and 55 miles wide. It encompases the entire Jacksonville, Amelia Island, Fernandina Beach, Orange Park, St. Augustine resort and residential communities. Penny was a stay at home mom for her three children. Later, she worked for CSX Railroad for 17 years in managment. At one point she owned a retail/ wholesale business gift company as one of her entrepreneurial ventures.

Today, Penny has grown her business to service over 2,000 satisfied customers. She trained her nannies to provide what every parent wants a safe, dependable, and caring person who will be there when you need them. All her nannies have passed an intensive personal interview, evaluation and screening process, including a national criminal background check.

With 2 kids in 2 different schools and no bus transportation available for either school, we needed her help. As a working mom and a sales rep, out-of-town dad, we found her through a friend's recommendation.

We love the people she chose as a match for us. During the summer young, fun-in-the-sun nannies loved taking the kids to the park, playground, beach, and pool.
