Dawn Direct Foam is made by Proctor & Gamble, and it is the best dish detergent I have ever used because it totally removes grease from my dishes. So many times I have washed dishes and then when I was drying them to put them away, I would find that they weren't clean and I would have to rewash them. Not so with Dawn Direct Foam.

When I used the regular dishwashing liquids the grease was just moved around. I might get it off one dish, but the grease dispersed through the water to settle on other dishes. I found that over and over again that I still had a greasy film on my dishes, which was so irritating to me, because I am not totally in love with washing dishes. I don't mind them when I can get them clean the first time.

With Dawn Direct Foam the grease becomes a part of the product and gets washed down the drain. Dawn Direct foam comes in a pump bottle and you get 250 pumps per bottle. I buy the refills and keep my original bottles for refills. These bottles are great to put 4 parts water and 1 part product in it for hand washing in the bathroom. I no longer buy hand soap. I just use a diluted form of direct foam. Even when diluted with water it foams perfectly.

When I wash my dishes, I don't do them exactly the way the woman on the TV commercial does it. I fill my sink up with water and put 2 pumps of the foam into the water. I put my dishes in there, and I usually let them sit there for a bit, and then let the water out. I do this so, if there is any stuck on food it will be loosened. I fill up the other side of the sink with plain warm water. Then I put 1 pump of foam onto my sponge and I wash my dishes. I let the clean dishes sit in a bath of warm water to lift up any product. I learned to do this because I found that rinsing alone in a stream of warm or hot water was not enough to lift the product entirely off the surface, and the taste of soap is not good! But when I let them sit for a few seconds in water and then rinse under running water all the product is removed. My dishes and glasses are sparkling clean, and I could not be happier. I am totally hooked on using this product and I would not want to use any other brand.

Thank you for doing a good review. I know more now and am prepared to use it if given the chance. Appreciate the fact that you did indeed try it first.
