When you are pregnant there are two things going against you. The first thing is morning sickness and the second thing is a lack of energy. It's hard to have a job while you are pregnant but it's also hard for one person to bring in an income alone. If you are a single mother you probably have no choice but to work. If you are working a job and you get sick all of the time it will be quite hard to make any money. Plus, any job that you have may not be that forgiving. They might give you maternity leave but then you are not making any money. I have found some places that you can work flexible hours, from home, and bring in an income. On days that you don't feel well or don't have the energy to work, you don't have to.

The first set of companies you might want to look into is transcription companies. There are a few that hire without any experience if you do your research. You can try to apply at Accutran Global or American High-Tech Transcriptions. Accutran has work that you can sign in whenever and take the work as it comes available. You can take a few calls and then sign off if you want to. With American High Tech you will want to make sure that you have perfect grammar or they will most likely let you go. You can also try Mornside Partners LLC. You can find lists of transcription companies at www.wahm.com.

Some other places you might want to look at are telemarketing companies. Babytobee.com is a great company because they sign up expecting mothers and new mothers for offers, samples and coupons. A lot of pregnant women work for this company and they wont penalize you for leaving when you go into labor. Babytobee pays you ten dollars an hour and you can work twenty plus hours per week. They are all very friendly and all you have to do is pass a series of tests, have a laptop with high speed internet and a headset which is VOIP compatible.

Why do people treat pregnancy like a disease? I mean do they realize that if we dont work that we can't pay bills and can't eat!! DO they want to see pregnant women on the street or something? I'm so frustrated by not being able to find a job. I am 25 weeks pregnant and have no money. Department of human services say i dont make enough money to qualify. I'm like duhhh!! If i had the money i woudn't need to apply!

I'm 7 months pregnant, I have a job, but it's only part-time and not very stable. I have to find another job where I work full-time or I don't have to get a baby sitter. I'm glad to finally see a site that has some mom-to-be info!!
