Free Product Samples Given Away Daily by Name Brand Companies

Sunsilk, Pantene Pro-V, Serenity Maxi-Pads, Gas-X, Coffee Mate, Folgers, Ban Deodorant, Olay, Aveeno, and Dial Bar Soap are just a few of the big name product samples I have gotten, for free.

It takes about 4 to 6 weeks from the date I apply for the sample to get to me, via mail. But when they do, enclosed in the box is a coupon for anywhere from $1 dollar to $5 dollars off of my purchase of that product, if I liked it of course.

At first, I started "Sampling" because it was free products. I would throw away the coupons I would get in the package, and toss the product sample in my "Samples Basket". I had no intention of buying the overpriced name brand product. I just wanted the sample. But after my first five or six rounds of samples started coming in, it was then that I decided to start saving my coupons, and the samples.

The first round of samples I got I used. They were Noxzema facial scrub, Dove deodorant, and Olay Anti-Wrinkle Serum. That was a small batch of samples. The following batches of samples would be 6 to 10 samples. I would sit at my computer for about four to six hours and just browse at name brand companies' websites looking for their promotions tab, to hopefully find a cool sample. Then I'd wait a few weeks, and do it again. That is what I mean by batches.

There was no real need for me to use the samples when they came in. So I got the brilliant idea to see how long it would take to fill up one of my round cylindrical shaped woven baskets about two feet tall and one foot wide with samples. Every day four or five samples would come in via the mail. I would just open up the boxes, take the coupon and put it in my coupon drawer and then toss the sample in the basket. The food samples we ate. But 99% of the samples were beauty/hygiene products. It took only two months to fill up my basket.

Now I try to use the samples quick enough so I will not run out of room for my basket. Serenity Pads has sent me almost ten packages of six pads each. Most samples send you one pad per sample. I have enough pads now to last me months. Wal-Mart.com is one way to get samples quickly. On their site they have a spot to get samples. Wal-Mart usually has the samples to you in about 3 to 4 weeks.
