Are you ugly? Or perhaps you think you are? It's not wrong to feel that way about yourself and sometimes it does a lot more good than believing you look really good. Some of us experience that complex when we tend to look for at least one or two good looking features we may possess but in the end we drop in despair when that's the only thing people think is ugly. Come on let's be honest here, most of us inherit our envy for good looks from comparing what we see for example, television, magazines and etc.

But really are there any solid standards to define beauty or at least measure its magnitude? I view such standards as subject to fads more than legal angles of perception. Beauty is deeper than the skin. It's what makes one a person that defines beauty. Truly, picture perfect isn't perfect at all. Talk about freckles that resemble black pepper dots on the canvas of a fried egg, Hollywood is filled with it. So who decides what's perfect and what's not? You or the general public who's been duped by what they see on television and magazines? I say, NONE!

So what if you have a crooked nose? Who says it's crooked? Think of it as a design variation more than the effect of standard deviation. So what if people think you are ugly? I know exactly what they'll do. They'll smile at you and say that looks don't matter but "it's the heart that counts," and even if they do mean it say that you are happy you are ugly and tell them how sad you are because they can't be as happy as you are. I am not saying you should believe you're entirely ugly. Reserve some of that and also try to find good solid grounds in you to validate your claims that you are indeed beautiful.

Don't pride yourself too much in the bad looks that consequently you may develop an alter ego that's not much of you at all. Do it moderately, don't be sadistic!

Also understand that no matter how perfect people appear in pictures, they'll always give you the shock of your life when they're outside the lens. Having solid footing in virtues would be a lot more better an investment than the money you are going to spend on plastic surgery and what other speedy-corruptive modifications available in the market today.

Did You Know?
No matter how beautiful someone may appear to be, they always have something lurking in the secret that when it's out it makes them look like a total "turn-off".
