I will probably step on a number of theological toes here. Today, Randy and Paula White, of Without Walls Ministries, announced that they are seeking a divorce. Now, I don't know who filed for the divorce, but I do know that the church is already beginning to voice their outcry that another mighty and powerful ministry has fallen.

First, let me say that I have no problem whatsoever with their divorce. I have seen God work in my own life through divorce, to bring me further into His Will and plan for my life. Of course, divorce isn't ideal for any marriage- however no one knows what really took place in the privacy of their home.

I could bring up links to numerous articles that assault Randy and Paula White's character and use it to discredit Without Walls International, or try to pinpoint those allegations as the reason for Randy and Paula White's divorce, but I won't.
All I will say, is that there were many signs that were exposed to the public that showed things weren't right. How far deep the ugliness lies under the surface, the public will never know. However, I don't believe that the fact that Randy and Paula White are getting divorced should affect any believer's walk with Christ at all.

I truly believe that sometimes God gives divorce as an answer to prayer. For example, when someone is beat down, abused, and all power has been placed in another person's hands, I believe that God may use divorce as an act of liberation and freedom. This may very well be the case with Randy and Paula White and their divorce.

1 Corinthians 7: 12-15

12To the rest I say this (I, not the Lord): If any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, he must not divorce her. 13And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him. 14For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy.

I'm glad they're getting divorced. Simply thinning the herd of all the false preaching out there, these two are part of that. Get lost.

It calls in the word to judge those who are Christian not the world. And being a Christain and preaching it, we should no it alot better. Yes we have to becareful becuase we are not perfect from falling from grace. And that is the sad thing. I am shock that there are so many things happening in the christian world. God will be here soon and who is leaving and staying only he knows. We think that we are doing GOD will and surprise surprise....Lets just keep looking at JESUS he is the only one that can deliver us. I've there where I thought my marriage had no hope. But I came to realize if I love my GOD and Fear him, that I should put my part and let GOD do the rest....And guess what he has and will keep me and my husband strong.....The only reason why there are so many divorces is becuase as one we can do great things in GODs hands, we are his vessels... and the enemy does not like that.

We ought not to judge but rather pray, but i must also add that it seems to me that preachers in America do not believe in the totality of the bible. What a shame

Paula and Randy White's marriage was a role model marriage. i remember watching the on TBN and seeing so much love, I thought to myself "i wish all christian homes could be like this". i just pray that the lord will restore their home.

In response to Charisse's article and many opinions on this page I would like to highlight the fact that this issue is not merely about "the white's divorce" but about the Christian viewpoint of divorce as a whole. Just because the Whites are 'loved', 'respected' and supposedly 'anointed' does not exclude them from the Bible's teaching on the topic of divorce. Of course Charisse supports their divorce as she appears to attempt to justify her own divorce by saying that God uses divorce as an 'act of liberation and freedom". If our God, the Alpha and Omega, the divider of the Red Sea, the victor over death, who created the universe by His very breath, ordains marriage, surely He can restore marriages without resorting to divorce! it is time we stop focussing on our own problems and limiting God to our circumstances, and instead have faith that "with God all things are possible!"- Matthew 18:26. "Since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off the sin that so

what can i say, lord let your mercy override judgement.truth is that it could happen to anybody just be careful enough to learn from this lesson so that its not you it happens to next.its easy to say how could they do this, but take heed you who thinks that you stand lest you fall.let our focus be on christ always so that we dont hear more of this, for as much as they are humans its not justfiable.it could have been avoided.May God see the Whites through.

You ARE to judge those in the kingdom,...know ye not that you will judge angels? You are NOT to judge those OUTSIDE the kingdom, as they are judged already, unless they repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and He saves them! I am fully equipped to Judge and Be Judged by my Family in Christ Jesus through the Word of God.

just want to say that i love both randy and paula, i am sorry that they are facing a divorce. but you know its between randy, paula and God.i do know that i have been to the place where i thought i was going to die and ther would be paula on t.v. preaching and giving me words that i know was from God. so i would also like to sy that i learned a long time ago to keep my eyes on Jesus, not another human-being. and i also have learned to keep my mouth shut and let God take care of bussiness, because i am to busy trying to please God myself . so come on sisters and brothers in Christ ; lets pray for randy and paula and keep our big mouths shut. judge not lest thy be judged.

I am a Christian and even though I believe in some of what you are saying.... it is like this..people need to know about Christ and unfortunately we "humans" are not perfect or without sin. I am not to say I am proud of some of the things people that represent him have done I firmly believe with our human frailities we are still called, used and pretestined.
