You are not your job. You are infinitely more precious, more important, than how you make your living. Maybe you are a mother, always giving, always sacrificing. You are also the cherished daughter of the most high God. If you trust in him, he wants to give you a life in full. He doesn't want your life to come crashing to a halt through the abuse of your body from lack of exercise, poor eating, and feelings of doubt and despair.

Christ didn't come to depress people. Yes, we all have sinned, but more important, if you trust in him, you are forgiven. You are to call on Abba to give you strength and grace and calm. Jesus says "Peace be with you!" In your attempts to be super mom, don't forget your peace. Have no fear, Abba, or Daddy, will give you good things. Even when you have trials, give thanks, and praise God for making you grateful when the good things come. God loves a cheerful giver. If you are depressed, you have nothing left to give. Rest, nourish your soul and body, and make lists of all of the good things in your life. Your home, even if you live in an apartment. Your car, even if its an old beat up Honda, your family, even if you only have friends. It is more than some people.

If we were all born perfect, with no faults, we wouldn't need God. We would think we were God. But even the most gorgeous women think they're bodies aren't perfect. The richest person always wants more. There is always someone smarter or thinner than you. You can only be thankful for being loved anyway. Even if you are single. Jesus still loves you, so you have no reason to worry. You will be loved.
