Dr. Scholl's foot care products are made for comfort and the company's footwear is no exception. I have found that the Dr. Scholl's Footwear with Gel-Pac Insoles are a stylish and comfortable way to dress the feet.I recently purchased a pair of Dr. Scholl's footwear in the W. Ellen style, a strap loafer. I found these shoes on display at Meijer and was initially attracted to the smooth sleek leather and classic look. The W. Ellen style comes in black, which I purchased, and cinnamon. Judging from the few boxes that remained on the shelf I knew this was a popular shoe. I had to try them for myself.
I tried on the Dr. Scholl's Footwear with Gel-Pac Insoles and was instantly impressed with the comfort. The gel-pac insoles contoured to my feet and were soft yet supportive. I could imagine wearing these shoes comfortably for hours. I wore the shoes to work and my feet felt great the whole day. The gel-pac insoles continued to work all day to provide comfort and support. The shoe straps are attached with a bit of velcro making it easy for the shoe to slip on and off. I'm not much a fan of velcro, but this shoe uses it tastefully and it is not apparent.
The shoes were regularly priced at $34.99, but I was able to get them on sale at Meijer. The price was well worth it because of the comfort these shoes provide. They are perfect for everyday wear to the office or during an outing. You can dress up or down with the W. Ellen style shoe. The first time I wore mine with a pair of jeans and a blouse for a casual look.
Dr. Scholl's Footwear with Gel-Pac Insoles are available at various department stores. There are a variety of Dr. Scholl's shoes available with the gel-pac insoles. The W. Ellen style is my favorite because of its versatility.
When purchasing the W. Ellen style try on both the typical shoe size and one half size smaller as the shoes run a little bit. I normally wear a size 8, but purchased a 7.5 instead. I could fit a 7.5 comfortably even wearing cotton socks. The shoes are also comfortable with thin socks.
