We all have to shop for everyday items. There is the toothpaste, mouthwash, deodorant, and many more things that we use every day. The cost of these items are going up, up and up. I am going to give you two great ideas for cutting your costs with little money outlay. The first thing that we all know about is that there are coupons in the Sunday newspaper. There is on average three types of coupons sections. There is the smartsource, vlasis, and P&G sections. Each week you can get from one to five sections in one paper. Then there are the papers that come out on a Holiday which have no coupon sections. You may not know that there are other places in the Sunday newspaper to find coupons. On some occasions you will find coupons in the front section of the paper. There is also a magazine in your paper called the parade. This magazine has coupons in it also on occasion. When you get your paper you must take the time to look through all sections to make sure you do not miss that valuable coupon. Coupons are a big money saver for you up front. You take the amount of the coupon off right at the register. There are stores that will double your coupons and then there are special sales that some stores run to triple coupons. You must search your area to see what stores will give you, your best deal on coupons. You must also watch the sales papers as well to see where those coupons will do the most good. On occasion you will find coupons in the Wednesday paper as well. These coupons will be located through out the paper not in a special coupon section. The Sunday paper is the most expensive of the weekly papers because of the coupons and sales papers. In the Baltimore, Maryland area the paper runs about $1.50 each plus tax. There are however, stores that will give you a good deal on them, such as Sam's Club and the dollar store. At times the local paper runs sales on their subscriptions, as well.
