I looked into www.retailreportcard.com and I think it is a scam. I looked up free mystery shopping and found www.FreeMysteryShopperList.com and found out they're a bunch of scams that make you sign up for expensive offers in order to get "Free" merchandise. While I wouldn't normally sign up for Netflix and free coupons etc. etc. I thought I would get a $1000 gift card. Little did I know I had to buy a $899 trip and a $165 internet website for a year. With everything else I had to sign up for, it was a bad deal. I think there should be laws against these scams. They say you have a chance to win all of this stuff but when your done, your head hurts and your poorer. What's the point of trying to help do market research. You shouldn't have to pay to give your opinion. I thought I would mystery shop, but it was all in Paramus and I live in Flanders. I think they need to get their head examined. They say you can make a lot of money mystery shopping, But I think all the hassle of finding legitimate opportunities is not worth it. You have to sign up for things and cancel them. You call that a job? Where's the market research? You shouldn't have to pay to do that.
When I was thirteen I'd go and give my opinion at market research companies and I would get $50, that was a real opportunity. Now days, they're just scams. I just thought I would make a couple of bucks on Associated Content and tell everyone what a scam those things are. I read in a book how you just cancel and keep the gift cards, but its not possible when you have to buy a $899 trip! No thanks, I'd rather just live a humble life as a writer if that's what doing market research is about.
You write an article and get paid. That's what it should be about. Give your opinion and get paid, not get scammed. They have market research at the mall and they get a bad reputation for harassing people, but at least you really get paid there.
