I love cheese and I love crackers so it's only natural that I be drawn to Cheez-It baked snack crackers. I normally buy the original ones, but during a recent grocery shopping trip I spotted boxes of Cheez-It Cheddar Jack baked snack crackers.

I had never seen the Cheez-It Cheddar Jack flavor before so I was intrigued. I've always been a fan of different types of cheeses so I was willing to try these snack crackers. All the Cheez-It products were on sale so I was further encouraged to give it a try. I purchased a 14 oz. box of Cheez-It Baked Snack Crackers.

On a recent day I was hungry for a snack so I decided to try my new box of Cheez-Its. I opened the box and the plastic bag with a little bit of effort as the package was tightly sealed for freshness. As I opened the bag my nose was greeted by the aroma of cheddar jack cheese. I took a few crackers in my hand and gave them a try. The taste was delicious. I could taste the rich cheddar jack flavor.

I immediately noticed the difference in the cheese taste from the original Cheez-Its although I thought there wouldn't be much difference. The cheddar jack crackers were lightly powdered with flavor. I would have preferred if the flavor was completely baked in with no need for the powdery flavoring.

The nutritional facts from the box read as follows:
Serving Size: 24 crackers; Servings Per Container: about 13
Calories 160; Calories from fat 70
Total Fat 8g; Saturated Fat 2.5g; Trans Fat 0g
Cholesterol 0mg
Sodium 240mg
Total Carbohydrate 18g; Dietary Fiber 0g; Sugars less than 1g
Protein 3g

These Cheez-It Cheddar Jack snack crackers are good for a quick snack at anytime. They are also good for school and work lunches. I mostly ate these Cheez-Its as a late night snack.

Other Cheez-It types made by the Sunshine brand include Cheez-It White Cheddar, Cheez-It Hot and Spicy, Reduced Fat Cheez-It and Cheez-It Parmesan and Garlic. There is also party mix available consisting of Cheez-its, pretzels, rye chips and Chex squares.

I love cheesy jack cheez its. I too noticed the extra zip versus the original flavor cheez its. The cheesy jacks have MSG in them whereas MSG isn't listed as an ingredient in original cheez its.

I love these things too. They're so... cheezy... for a lack of a better word. Thanks!

My grandkids brought home a box of the Cheddar Jack. They are pretty good. I'm a cheese lover, too!

Great review! My favorites are the white cheddar and the spicy hot. I haven't tried the cheddar jack yet. Sounds good. :-)

Great review, I actually saw them on the shelf at the store but was afraid to deter from my regular cheese its, but guess I need to give them a try.

Great review! :) I love cheez-its. I like the Sponge Bob ones (odd I know), for some reason they taste best in that shape.

I have not tried this flavor but 2 of my kids love the other flavors so we may try these.
