Las Vegas, Nevada has a large and proud Hispanic-American community. They often face certain issues and have particular needs where more specified kinds of help may need to be used.

If you are a Hispanic-American resident of our city, consider trying these regional and national resources if you and/or your household are facing difficult challenges.

Offers social services, cultural awareness and education programs as well as help with economic concerns and community development, adult literacy, help for those suffering from alcohol and drug problems, gang prevention programs, AIDS education information, and emergency shelter for young people.

Provides bilingual information to the general public regarding the needs of Hispanic seniors who may have economic challenges and other low-income elderly.

Works to help Hispanic communities and individuals become more autonomous by offering them job training and employment referral, housing help for the elderly, behavioral programs for at-risk youth, and help with shelter by those affected by domestic violence. Right now, their base is in Arizona, but they may still be able to steer you to something that might help, if you ask.
