-Ever notice that anti-evolutionists are often themselves the best evidence FOR a missing link?

-Do you think Michael Vick will get to wear number 7 on his prison uniform?

-I wonder if Jenna Bush's new fiancee' will do a tour in Iraq.

-Now that Amy WInehouse's husband allegedly beat the crap out of her, maybe she'll rethink her decision to not go to rehab after all.

-So New York CIty now has a public school that teaches children to speak and read Arabic and to understand Arab culture. Here's a novel idea: why not teach them to read and speak functional english and to understand basic mathematics.

-Some people see the movie "Idiocracy" as a humorous movie with lots of swear words. I see a horrifying, nightmarish vision of the not too distant future.

-Spongebob Squarepants and the Fairly Odd Parents are two of the most subversive shows on television. That makes me smile.

-A Chinese sculptor has been chosen to build the statue of Dr. Martin Luther King for the National Mall in Washington DC. Because capturing the spirit of social justice, tolerance, respect for human rights, and the expansion of democratic principles should never take precedence over getting it done cheaply through outsourcing.

-Disgraced Pastor Ted Haggard is asking for financial assistance from his followers. Goes something like this:

"I know that I totally betrayed your trust and disgraced your church and made you the target of ridicule for supporting me all those years by playing flippy-flop with male masseurs, but could you help a brother out? This whole loss of my multi-million dollar a year gig is really breaking my balls over here."

-The Atlanta Falcons want $22 million back from Michael Vick. Vick insists that his dog ate it.

-So this guy in Tennessee was arrested for passing counterfeit $100 bills to strippers for lap dances. So, the strippers pretended to find him irresistible and he paid them with pretend money, where's the problem?
