Being a mobile home owner does not mean you have to settle for less. But you will have to educate yourself in all the areas of owning one of these homes. If you are planning to purchase a single wide trailer you will need to know that these mobile homes are not refinance able. The only way that you may be able to refinance if you build an additional dwelling unto the existing structure itself, this will secure your chances on a complimentary appraisal.

If by chance you have the funding or resources to complete this do this, without a doubt will be a wise investment in increasing your property long term value and equity.

There are several banks and institutions that will help you in your endeavor, it may take some time, effort and patience, and it can be accomplished with the help of knowledgeable real estate professionals that deal in this type of home financing.

The best resources that I can recommend are getting in contact with your local court house, especially if you reside in the southern region of the U.S. Visit city hall or the municipality of your geographical region. Assistance may be found from the many knowledgeable city workers that this field of work is their specialty. You may be surprised the information that they can provide in your endeavor for additional resources.

Most mobile home owners do not take advantage of the many resources that are available; either they may feel it is a waste of time and energy, never assume that you may be stuck in the mud. There is also additional aid from the U.S. government-us.gov.com

Building contractors also have a wide base of resources. Due to the nature of their business and clientele their resources are abundant.

There are not many existing mobile home manufacturers selling mobile homes due to the overwhelming production and popularity of pre fabed homes, 50 to 75% of these homes floor plans are the same in design.
