Are you looking for cute coordinating costumes for your little ones? Whether you have twins or children that are years apart, you may want to go all out and coordinate your kids Halloween Costumes. These handmade costumes take some time and love, but they are really fun to make with your children. These ideas are from the World's Most UnCrafty Mom! If I can do it, you definitely can!

This first idea came from my son! He was 4 years old and I told him his 2 year old sister was going to be a sunflower for Halloween. He said, "Can I be a watering can?" I was stunned. "What a great idea!" I thought. These are just basic directions and you can modify them as needed.

Sunflower and Watering Can

What you'll need:

Green dress

Green striped tights or green tights

Lots of craft foam (strips and whole pieces from the craft section)

Hot glue

Needle and thread (optional)

Brads

Silver spray paint

String or strips of craft foam (to make the suspenders)

Scissors

You can be as creative and fun as you want with this costume. It can be as easy as buying a green dress at the store or as difficult as sewing one yourself. This costume is perfect for families with one boy and one girl.

For the girl, start out with a green dress about to the knees. Take some green craft foam that you can buy at any craft store, and make a band to go around your little darling's face. Next, take yellow craft foam and cut out big pedals like a sunflower. Attach the yellow pedals to the green headband by hot gluing and/or sewing them on. Buy some striped green and white tights or plain green tights and you're all set. You can even add a wrist band by creating a larger band with the green foam and then cut out leaves and attach the same way you did to the headband.

For the watering can, take a large piece of flat, craft foam and spray paint it silver. The foam should be about 6 feet long and 3 feet wide depending on the size of your child. Measure before painting! You don't want the watering can to fit snugly around your child. It should be right below their underarms and there should be plenty of room between them and the costume.
