Allen Memorial Art Museum

Allen memorial is actually a part of Oberlin College, and boasts owning one of the best college collections in the nation. The museum holds over 11,000 objects. Some of them are extremely unique, such as collections of the 17th century Dutch and Flemish paintings and Old Master prints. The museum also holds art from Monet, Rembrandt, Picasso, Warhol, and many more famous artists. There is also no admission fee, so you are free to view the beauty of the artwork anytime! Admission is Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am until 5 pm, and Sundays from 1 to 5. They are located at 87 N. Main St. Their phone number is 440-775-8665.

Cleveland Botanical Gardens

One of the most magnificent features of the Cleveland Botanical Gardens is that they feature The Eleanor Armstrong Smith Glasshouse. This glasshouse is a crystal-peaked, 18,000 foot conservatory. The addition to the museum houses two of the earth's fragilest eco-systems. One, the desert of Madagascar and the cloud forest of Costa Rica. Living exhibits make up the two ecosystems, with more than 5 0 species of animals, and 500 species of flowers and plants. The Cleveland Botanical Garden has many wonderful and interactive features, such as a children's garden, a rose garden, The Japanese Garden. and the Western Reserve Herb Society Garden, which has more than 300 types of herbs growing in it. They also have a Hershey Children's Garden just for the kids!The Cleveland Botanical Gardens are open April 1 thru October 31st, Monday thru Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm.
