When we returned home from our vacation we realized that our house sitter had allowed our cat into our new den. Our cat had shown his displeasure for our absence by urinating all over our new leather furniture.
We were horrified as the furniture was less then six weeks old and had cost us over $6,000
dollars.
One of our neighbors mentioned they had success with the proklean products so we gave them a call.
Proklean asked if we had waterproofed the furniture and we said no. You could hear a pin drop as we were terrified that they would now tell us to throw the furniture away.
They explained that waterproofing leather furniture is analogous to wrapping your television with saran wrap and trying to clean the screen.
Technical support now directed us to the online instructions and asked if we understood them. It was a no brainer, the instructions are clear and concise.
We ordered a couple of bottles of the leather cleaner and waited for the products to arrive. We were emailed a delivery confirmation number and sure enough three days later the package arrived.
The bottles are distinctive as you would expect from any well known manufacturer and they contained the appropriate copyright warnings. For that reason we will not violate their copyright by displaying a photo with our story.
The fact is a photo is not really relevant.
The moment of truth was upon us. My wife prepared a fresh pot of coffee as we both sat down to review the online instructions. One thing that we really appreciated was their receipt actually contained links to the support pages.
We reviewed the black light, how to clean leather, how to use sprayers and the leather supplement. This interesting little page is a primer on gravity and how this natural force can cause urine to migrate.
We located all of the urine with the help of a black light and you could actually see the urine disappearing!
With a little bit of elbow grease and less then a hundred dollars we saved our brand new leather furniture!
Our total experience with these products and this company is outstanding.
Frankly we think they should rename their how to clean leather page to Leather Cleaning for Dummies.
