I Saw Him in the Car Next to Me & the Bastard Didn't Even Say "hi"
Lonely vagrant
waiting for his cab.
Sustaining his stance
(ignoring our glances),
migrating away from all that ails him
migrating towards the warmer weather,
yet harsher conditions.
Poor lonely vagrant.
living alone.
having me feel sorry for myself.
Lonely vargant.
inspired by none,
yet fueled by one,
this, our lonely vagrant
is finally going home
after many years in limbo.
Hoping to find his place,
hoping,
that without a hitch ,
he'll soon be freed,
though all his life he has
(and will always be)
a lonely vagrant.
