Owen Wilson, one of Hollywood's most prolific actors in recent years, has been capturing the hearts and laughs of fans worldwide. Handsome, though unconventionally so, Owen has the golden California boy look down pat, even with his charmingly crooked nose. Looks aside, Owen's acting style is laid back and over the top at the same time. Here is a look at five of Owen Wilson's best movies.

You, Me and Dupree

Costarring with Kate Hudson in 2006 in You, Me and Dupree, Owen steals the show as the house crashing best friend of a recent groom. Immature antics drive the new bride up a wall, but soon, Dupree's laid back style wins over everyone except the best friend, who grows tired of the intrusion on his life. Owen is a master of the boyish antics his character embodies.

Wedding Crashers

Owen Wilson delivers more boyish antics in Wedding Crashers (2005), but this time they are bawdier and more over the top than ever before. He plays John, a divorce mediator who habitually crashes weddings with his co-worker and best friend. The two are in it for the fun and the bridesmaids, when John ends up falling in love with Claire. Hilarity ensues while Owen shows his soft side opposite Rachel McAdams' Claire.

Zoolander

In 2001, Owen Wilson appeared in the movie Zoolander, which starred Ben Stiller. Owen played a top male model with an ego the size of Texas. Strutting his stuff across the catwalk, Owen performs the perfect parody of an egoistic male model. Owen and Ben Stiller often appear in movies together, sometimes opposite each other as the protagonist and antagonist, as in Zoolander. At other times, they are partners and buddies, as in Starsky and Hutch.

Cars

Starring as the voice of Lightening McQueen, the race car in Cars (2006), Owen Wilson delivers a smooth performance. His youthful voice with a slight southern drawl is the perfect complement to the race car scene depicted in the Pixar film. His voice is distinctive, yet doesn't overwhelm the cartoon character he portrays. This blockbuster will be enjoyed by children of all ages for years to come.

I really liked Owen Wilson in Minus Man and The Haunting too. He could be a serious actor if he wanted to be one.
