Owen Cunningham Wilson was born in Dallas, Texas on November 18, 1968. His two brothers Luke and Andrew are actors as well. Many of us know this funny guy from such recent hits as You, Me & Dupree, Starsky and Hutch or Wedding Crashers. Owen's career dates back as far as 1994 when he was in his first movie, Bottle Rocket. To date, Owen Wilson has been in 28 films. These films are Mater and the Ghostlight (2006), Nigh at the Museum (2006), You, Me, and Dupree (2006), The Wedding Crashers (2005), Cars (2005), The Wendell Baker Story (2004), The Life Aquatic (2004), Around the World in 80 Days (2004), Starsky & Hutch (2004), The Big Bounce (2004), Shanghai Knights (2003), I Spy (2002), Behind Enemy Lines (2001), The Royal Tenenbaums (2001), Zoolander (2001), Meet the Parents (2000), Shanghai Noon (2000), Heat Vision and Jack (1999), The Haunting (1999), Breakfast of Champions (1999), The Minus Man (1999), Rushmore (1998), Permanent Midnight (1998), Armageddon (1998), Anaconda (1997), The Cable Guy (1996), Bottle Rocket (1996), and Bottle Rocket (1994).

On top of staring in all of the above movies, Owen Wilson had a part in writing the flowing films, The Wendell Baker Story (2004), The Royal Tenenbaums (2001), Rushmore (1998), Bottle Rocket (1996), and Bottle Rocket (1994). He also helped produce these films as well: You, Me and Dupree (2006) as producer, The Royal Tenenbaums (2001) as executive producer, Rushmore (1998) as executive producer, and As Good as It Gets (1997) as associate producer.

Owen also has a few films in the works that have yet to come out. They are The Darjeeling Limited (2007), Year One (2008), Outsourced (2008), Drillbit Taylor (2008). As you can see, he has had pretty steady work since he hit the Hollywood market in 1994. Many of his parts were small in his early film rolls. His big break came in 2000 when he starred along Jackie Chan in Shanghai Noon. Owen Wilson has appeared in several films with his friends that many call the Frat Pack. This Frat includes his brother Luke Wilson, Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Will Ferrell, Jack Black, and Steve Carell.

This is so weird. I knew who Owen was, but I didn't know he was born in Dallas (where I live) in 1968 (the year I was born) on November 18 (the day after my son was born.) Coincidence? Karma? Anyway, any word on this alleged suicide attempt? Might be worth a second article. Kudos.
