Man's prideful sin nature tends to blind him to the existence of a Creator. Pride is one of Satan's pet ploys when deceiving mankind, and oftentimes he is successful, especially when it comes to the realm of Creation, probably because man is uncomfortable attributing great works to a higher Being. But when the book of Genesis is presented to an individual from a Christian light, the conscience is pricked, and questions arise; "Is there really a Creator?" "Did we come from monkeys, or fish, or a tadpole, or were our ancestors actually humans all along?" "How old is the earth?" "Did it come about from an explosion, or was intelligent design involved?" As modern day scientists continually dream up new ways of explaining away evidences of Creation, more skepticism arises over the true origin of life as we know it. Fortunately, the book of Genesis holds the answers to every Creationism question imaginable, and it's there for the taking for anyone who is willing to listen and read. From world origins to world religions, one needs to search no farther than Genesis for answers to life's toughest questions.

While I appreciated the more scholastic tone than that of many similar articles, I still cannot understand the why so many fall into the fallacy of assuming that because evolution may have (a few) complications, Creationism must be accurate. One does not accept a myth because a certain scientific explanation does not appeal to them. Genesis contains two creation stories, a talking snake, a magic fruit, an impossible act of diestic genocide, child sacrifice, glorified gang rape, a fantastical firestorm, and many other problematic elements. Not to mention, this text was written in stages by different religions until finally being tied together by Jewish priests. I think that if we are going to put evolution (which does not even claim a complete answer for the origin of life, only a model of development) under such scrutiny, it is only fair that Genesis receive the same treatment. I absolutely and completely agree with you. I'm so sick and tired of so called educated men completely neglecting to apply basic logic and reasoning in the quest to find our origins. When one is unbiased in their research they will always be led to the truth. In the case of the quest to find our origins, the reasoning they apply and believe is a disgrace to the intelligence they claim to posses.
