Pesticides
Organic-grown coffee does not have artificial, toxic pesticides used on it. If the organic label is accurate, this means these pesticides don't even come close to it. Ever. Any pesticide used will be a natural pesticide, such as special soil, companion planting, or even fungus-based pesticides. This makes sure that the consumer's health is better protected, as well as the environment and the natural balance of the soil. Think about it. Those toxic pesticides also hit the ground and seep in. Consider the chemical chaos that goes on in the soil, which we can never see. But it certainly throws off the balance of the soil, which then requires great effort in order to be able to continue to grow coffee there. Cutting out these harmful pesticides also keeps them from being absorbed by the coffee bean, which in turn keeps the consumer from sipping trace amounts of the pesticide. Thus, organics are win-win.
