Feeling stuck on a small island, three faithful friends, Kairi, Riku, and Sora have high hopes for something more than what their island can provide. Though they live in every vacationer's dream island, the curiosity of what lies beyond their shores frustrates them, later tearing them apart. The simplistic life they start off with doesn't last forever.

Despite being broken apart, Kairi, Riku, and Sora go on adventure of their life. However, they do not make these travels forever. The lead hero, Sora, teams up with Goofy and Donald. Together the three travel between worlds, from swimming under the sea with Ariel in Atlantica all the way to flying across Neverland with Peter Pan. Kingdom Hearts is the complete formula of when Final Fantasy and Disney combine!

Graphics

Though Kingdom Hearts only has full movies at the beginning and the end, the game is not cut short on graphics. Often times, games are glamorized only by what their movies look like. Then when the game is played, the player is let down by poor graphics after the opening movie.

This is not the case with Kingdom Hearts. What you see is what you get. The graphics are always colorful, detailed. They fully animate battle movies, magic, and facial expressions beautifully. The screen shots you see are most likely not screen shots of just the movie, but the actual game. So if you like what you see then you'll like what you get.

Music and Sounds

Each town and world you enter has its own theme songs. No song overlaps the other from world to world. Still, if you listen close some of them sound close to the main Traverse Town theme as if it's a remix with a Disney twist. The music keeps the Disney feel as you can almost sing to, "Under the Sea" as you are in Altantica. Another great quality about this game is the character voices.
