There are literally dozens of brands of tea on the market to choose from. There are aisles devoted to various brands of herbal tea, iced tea, decaffeinated tea, fruit tea. The list goes on. In this article we will look at Tea India, a wonderful blend of Orange Pekoe and Pekoe Cut Black Tea.

The health benefits of tea are well known and documented. Tea contains antioxidants, which can help fight against disease. According to Tea India®, each 8 oz serving of tea contains up to 200mg of flavonoid antioxidants.

I first came across Tea India® when I visited my favourite Indian specialty shop in the local area, the Punjab Bazaar, which is located at 1190 Stabler Lane, Yuba City, CA 95993. I was looking for another product when I noticed the 12 oz (340g) box of 120 tagless tea bags by Tea India®. This was a brand I had not heard of or tried before. So I decided to buy a box of Tea India® tea bags and see if I liked this brand.

When I made my first cup of tea with the Tea India® I was very impressed with the results. The tea brewed within moments and it tasted delicious. It did not leave a bitter aftertaste, as some teas do. I even prefer this brand of tea to Typhoo and PG Tips.

There is a caution notice on the back of the box of tea bags. It states: "It is not recommended to boil tea bags. Water must be at boiling temperature to brew tea. Sun Tea is not recommended". I never boil water with the tea bag in it. But my husband and I did not read the caution and we made Sun Tea, which the company advises against. The Sun Tea turned out well. Once it was in the fridge, each serving just required 1 minute in the microwave to heat it up for a nice cup of tea.

Instructions are very simple to follow. There are two suggested ways of preparing a cup of tea using Tea India®. The first is to bring 8oz of water to the boil and to then pour the boiling water into a cup, followed by adding one tea bag to the cup of boiling water. Suggested brewing time is between 3-5 minutes. The longer you leave the tea bag in the cup, the stronger the cup of tea will be.

Tea is lovely, I like mint tea personally, especially when it has in it whatever the added extra is when they make it in Marocco? When I had some there it was very morish and made me laugh a lot, very happy event, lol. I bought loads of stuff, like taking a happy pill, lol.
