Nokia Releases Mobile Phones to Rival iPhone

In a series of press releases published by Nokia on its website, Nokia announced four new mobile phones that is aimed to give users entertainment, music, and games. In conjunction with Nokia's announcement of its new devices, Nokia also announced its new Internet service as well as a Nokia music store that rivals Apple's iTunes. Kai Oistamo, Executive Vice President of Nokia stated in the press release, "From the compact Nokia 5310 XpressMusic music phone to the fully-featured Nokia N81 multimedia computer, Nokia offers a range of entertainment-enabled devices for consumers who want their music, games and favorite media with them wherever they go. We believe these full-featured, well-designed devices will be very popular and will help bring Nokia's Internet and music services to life."
Amongst Nokia's new devices include: The Nokia N81, Nokia N95 8 GB, Nokia 5310 XpressMusic, and Nokia 5610 XpressMusic.
According to Nokia, the Nokia N81 has dedicated music and gaming keys, 3.5 mm headphone connector and 3G and WLAN connectivity. Nokia is marketing the N81 as a multimedia computer and the device also comes in an 8 GB model. Nokia priced the N81 at 360 Euros while the N81 8 GB is priced at 403 Euros.
Nokia stated that the new Nokia N95 has all the features of its predecessor including a 5 mega pixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, built-in A-GPS, WLAN, HSDPA and an innovative 2-way slide. What sets the new Nokia N95 apart is that it now has an 8 GB of internal memory and a 2.8 inch QVGA display, only a little smaller than the iPhone's screen. The N95 8 GB and will sell for 560 Euros.
Nokia is marketing the 5310 XpressMusic to the music lovers. The press release stated that the 5310 XpressMusic can offer up to 18 hours of music playback and memory for up to 3,000 songs. Other features of the 5310 include: aluminum finish, expandable microSD slot, 2-mega pixel camera and a 2-inch QVGA screen. The device is 9.9 mm thick and weighs less than 71 grams. The price for the Nokia 5310 XpressMusic is set at 225 Euros.
