The week, the Investigative Project on Terrorism released a Website that will provide exclusive reports and startling news related to counterterrorism. The IPT stores data and intelligence concerning Islamic terrorist groups and archives of data related to their activities. The website will provide all of the details one would need when trying to gain insight into the media, law enforcement and the public news regarding terrorism and Islam.

Michael Fletcher became the Editor In Chief of the IPT in May 2007. Fletcher is an award-winning investigative journalist, previously employed with the Tampa Tribune. Due to the efforts of Michael and his staff, the website has been a success from the beginning.

Information available at this website will include, but is not limited to:

-Profiles of terrorist and the group's members

-evidence documented from hundreds of terrorism cases

-documents revealed in the past featuring secret plans and activities of groups

-documented testimonies and reports of threats from terrorist and Islam

-IPT multimedia access and present articles

-News items just reaching or prior to being announced to the public.

Data from the website is from the prior two years of information retrieved by the IPT from world news and other sources.
