When you are considering buying a new television, there are several things that are always wandering throughout your mind. One of these includes whether or not you want a big screen television, and if you decide on this than you have to consider what type of big-screen television you want to purchase. There are several types, however, one of the world's first big-screen TV's was the rear-projection television. This TV was cool because it was big, however, the picture quality was not-so-great. However, this has changed within recent years, and with the evolving television industry, you know can enjoy a rear-projection television without the weird "hue" or "haze" they are known for. One of these TVs is the Panasonic 50" 1080p Rear-Projection LCD HDTV, Model: PT-50LCZ70.
One of the features that really makes this television stand out from all the other rear-projection TV's is the fact that it has a 1080p display, which gives you an absolutely stunning picture, no matter what you are watching. Another great feature is the built-in HDTV Tuner, which allows you to watch high-definition broadcasts by attaching an HD-capable antenna to your television.
However, what if you don't feel like watching TV, but you still want to get as much use as your television set as possible? Well, now your TV has just become the world's greatest photo album. This is because they have installed a Secure Digital/Secure Digital high Capacity media card reader, which allows you to view all of your photos from your digital camera on this 50" 1080p screen.
Of course, this television comes with the 16:9 aspect ratio, complete with several different types of aspect ratio modes. You also get one of the coolest features I've seen in quite some time. I am talking about the LIFI, or Light Fidelity. Basically what this system does is shorten the overall start-up time and allows you to achieve beautiful images by prolonging the life of the inner-lamp.
