Liam O'Brien is a notable male voice actor in the world of Japanese animation who is notable for such roles as Gaara of the Desert in "Naruto", Vincent Law in "Ergo Proxy", and Jushiro Ukitake in "Bleach". He is one of the most notable actors in Japanese anime with Naruto being his most known work due to his character of Gaara. He was born on May 28, 1976 in Belleville, New Jersey.

His full name is Liam Christopher O'Brien and his about thirty-one years old. So far on his resume, Liam O'Brien has quite the resume of doing voice work for so many anime titles. Though it's quite a lot, it doesn't compare to the resume of his Naruto costar Steven Blum who does the voice of Zabuza and Orochimaru. Still, Liam O'Brien has done voice work for over thirty different titles of Japanese anime. As a result, Liam O'Brien has developed quite a loyal fan following.

Though his resume isn't as big yet, Liam O'Brien has earned the opportunity that a lot of aspiring voice actors wants to do, make a career out of voice acting. He is one the first people asides from Yuri Lowenthal, Steven Blum, and Vic Mignogna whom are approached immediately by the United States based Japanese anime studios with offers to voice principal or major roles. One such example would be Gaara of the Desert from the Naruto series.

He has done various voice roles in the anime series ".hack//SIGN". He did the voice of Tom in ".hack//Legend of the Twilight". The .hack// series were other works of anime in which Liam O'Brien would work with along with Steven Blum.

Liam O'Brien had a minor role in the "Appleseed" movie released in 2004 as an ESWAT soldier. He had a few small roles in the five episode anime series called "Afro Samurai" in which fellow Naruto voice actor Yuri Lowenthal had offered his voice to.
