The Naruto Trading Card Game: How to Begin Construction on a Tournament Worthy Deck
Remember that a deck must have the basic requirements, like having no more then 25 ninja, and also having no less then 40 cards. Both of these values are important to think about when constructing a deck. You want to have as many ninja as possible, obviously because they are going to be the brute force used in attack and defending the village. You need to make sure that you have enough ninja so that you will be able to keep replacing those that are defeated in battle.
Your 40 card deck limit is also very important. The less cards you include in a deck, the more chance you have of drawing your most powerful and useful cards. Think about this, If I have three cards, Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura, and I shuffle these three cards together placing them one onto of the other, what are the chances Naruto will be the card on top? 1 in three or about a 33% chance. If I have Naruto mixed in with nine other ninja making a total of 10 cards, shuffle them all together, what are the chances of Naruto being on top? 1 in 10 or a ten% chance. You can see how with more cards in a deck the probability of drawing your beast cards goes down.
