One new stage, a couple of move sets, two new items and Pokémon Trainer's Special Moves were unveiled this week for Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Characters: Pokémon Trainer's Special Moves
Pokémon Trainer has ten different special moves. Each of his three Pokémons (Squirtle, Ivysaur and Charizard) has three each. Six of them (two for each Pokémon) were shown this week: Squirtle can use Waterfall and Withdraw, Ivysaur can use Bullet Seed and Vine Whip and Charizard can use Flamethrower and Rock Smash. The tenth special move allows Pokémon Trainer to switch between the Pokémons.

How to Play: Four Special Move Types
Doing each of the four special moves is easy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Simply push the same one button and tilt the control stick in different directions. The four ways of tilting the control stick are up, down, sideways and stationary (no tilting at all).

How to Play: Gliding
Some characters (Ike, Meta Knight and Charizard) can glide across the stages. Simply jump and, while in midair, hold down the jump button to glide. Be cautious, however, as you can't change directions while gliding.

Stages: Wario Ware
The Wario Ware stage is a new stage based on the popular games of the same name. It seems to retain a lot of the personality from the Wario Ware games too. The background graphics are simple and there is even a timer that counts down to the next minigame. The stage shifts from minigames to minigames that will force players to pay attention to their surroundings and perform certain tasks (or else they will take damage) while battling each other at the same time.

Items: Andross
The main villain from the Star Fox games makes a return, not as a boss, but as a usable item. In his form from the original Star Fox, Andross moves around the stage shooting polygons out of his mouth.

Items: Superspicy Curry
Another new item in Super Smash Bros. Brawl is the Superspicy Curry. By eating the Superspicy Curry, not only can you shoot fire out of your mouth but you can also perform new combos as well.
