I was invited to my friend's house for brunch a few days ago and I noticed she had a new gadget in her kitchen. I never even knew there was such a devise as this. It is the Back to Basics egg and muffin 2 slice toaster. This toaster has a compartment that you can steam an egg. You can poach it or have a boiled egg without ever using the stove. I was really quite impressed with this toaster. You can cook your egg and toast an English muffin at the same time, for a fast food breakfast just like you can get at McDonalds. If I hadn't already bought a new toaster I would have considered buying one just like this one. I liked that the slots are wide enough to accommodate larger items, such as bagels and home made bread.

This toaster has an egg poaching tray that makes perfect shaped poached eggs that fit perfectly on the English muffin. There is also a steamer tray that will hard boil your eggs, and a warming tray for reheating bacon or sausage that has already been cooked. You can't ask for anything neater than this. You can cook your breakfast without ever messing up a frying pan. There is a user-friendly touchpad that lets you choose what you want to do. You can choose toast only, or egg only or you can choose both options to work together. This toaster is easy to clean and has a removable crumb tray for easy cleaning and a compartment for cord storage. This toaster is priced at around $39 and I believe it is well worth the money.

My friend loves this toaster and doesn't know what she would do without it. I noticed that it was so convenient. The eggs and the toast get done at the same time. It cooks very fast. This toaster would be great for someone that likes to eat on the run. In the time that it takes to microwave a bowl of oatmeal, you can have a hot entrée to go with it. I can see that it would also be great for senior citizens that may not feel like cooking anything. If I had this toaster, I would probably be using it every day, because I love eggs.
