Health Factor Auntie Anne's Pretzels are not healthy at all. The best that you can do when it comes to health with this snack is opt for the unsalted or "no butter" pretzels. Auntie Anne's Pretzels are covered with butter and loaded with salt. The flavored options are no better, as they include lots of sugar no matter what you choose. This is definitely not the perfect snack for men and women who have diabetes and other health complications. Auntie Anne's Pretzels are loaded with calories, fat and sodium.
Quality
Auntie Anne's pretzels are large in size. This is one factor that I like about the snack. However, Auntie Anne's Pretzels can be very greasy. The grease is produced from the butter that the pretzels are made with. If you are wearing a nice outfit, it would be best to stock up on lots of napkins. Grease from the butter gets through the bags that are provided by Auntie Anne's Pretzels locations. This can become a nuisance, especially since it is hard to keep your hands clean while traveling outdoors.
I could definitely do without the extra grease. To get a less greasy pretzel, it is best to order one after they have been sitting for some time. This still will do nothing for your health, but it can prevent you from having butter all over your hands. Auntie Anne's Pretzels are usually nice and soft. The original pretzels that have been sitting for hours may not be as soft any longer.
Price
Auntie Anne's Pretzels are one of the most expensive snacks that I have ever purchased. Even large pretzels at a county fair cost much less than an Auntie Anne's product. They used to cost $1.50 and have increased to $1.95. I didn't mind paying that price because the Auntie Anne's Pretzels are satisfying. However, $1.95 is a hefty price to charge consumers for one soft pretzel.
